Bookkeeper, Part-Time
We are currently hiring a part-time bookkeeper for our educational services organization based in Western Massachusetts. Only local candidates within commuting distance will be considered - no relocation or fully remote candidates please.
Position Requirements
Quickbooks expert status required. Extensive experience working with Quickbooks for AR, AP and payroll as well as well established previous experience (5 years + preferred) working in a similar function with a significant number of daily transactions to reconcile. Our bookkeeping functions include recording all transactions, balancing the books daily, producing financial reports, generating and sending invoices, paying bills and taxes and maintaining employee records.
This position requires a history of successful experience in bookkeeping with Quickbooks, including the ability to set up and maintain companies and charts of accounts. We also requires the ability to work quickly, independently and accurately with great attention to detail, and to work well with others - including our full time bookkeeper, in a friendly and collaborative small office. The position is based in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, but work-from-home MAY be possible at certain times.
