Cape Cod Beer is a self distributing microbrewery located in Hyannis MA. Over the last 19 years we have grown from a one person company with 12 customers to a 20+ employee company with 500+ customers within 50 miles of the brewery.

We love Cape Cod, are passionate about making award winning beers and pride ourselves on providing world-class customer service to our customers! We continue to grow each year by adding new beers to the line up. It is time for us to hire another Sales Associate to help us spread the love about our product! We’re looking for someone who loves craft beer, has a great personality, preferably has some sales experience or is very eager to learn how to be a sales person, has the right attitude, and wants to live and work on Cape Cod (or in this case Plymouth County).

Our Sales Associates are responsible for representing Cape Cod Beer to both our on and off premise customers and prospects (meaning both restaurants and liquor stores.) They must act as an Ambassador for Cape Cod Beer and have a vast depth of knowledge about our company, our brands, the craft beer industry, the intricacies of selling craft beer and the challenges of a highly seasonal and competitive market. They must be very personable and extremely organized! This position is approximately 20% new business development and 80% account management & growth. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Distribution.

We will train you on the intricacies of selling craft, and in some cases, with the right candidate, with the right attitude, will train a candidate with no sales experience.

Requirements:

• Must be 21+
• Must be able to lift/carry/deliver beer on occasion.
• Must have a valid MA drivers license & a clean driving record.
• Must have schedule flexibility to meet scheduling demands of customer tastings/events, ie some evenings and Saturdays.
• Must genuinely like people, exude customer service, and love craft beer.
• Must have sufficient technical abilities to run software, spreadsheets, hand helds etc.
• Previous Sales Experience is helpful but we are willing to train the right person.
• Must have housing within our distribution area (Plymouth and Barnstable Counties), or within a reasonable driving distance.
