We are currently hiring a Business Development Director (Remote) to help grow our company and ensure our mission is achieved!

This role is a work from home position and can be performed remotely anywhere in the continental US or in one of our corporate locations in Utah or Arizona. This is an individual contributor position.

YOU ARE:
A high-powered sales professional with extensive experience building relationships and driving revenue. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development you will be responsible for overseeing a region that focuses on B2B/B2C sales and new business generation. You will provide oversight and day-to-day accountability of business development initiatives companywide. This position offers you the opportunity to make a strategic contribution in a dynamic and fast-growing environment as you cooperatively work within a highly talented sales force. Helping the team increase brand loyalty and drive sales while also playing an active role in projects focused on a progressive improvement of revenue generation and customer value delivery functions.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Strategize with Senior Executives on future opportunities and growth at Progressive Leasing
  • Own Business Development processes companywide, form leads, stories, pitches, and close sales
  • Travel as needed for sales pitches, networking events, tradeshows, and/or other appropriate opportunities to make/develop connections with decision makers
  • Responsible for acquiring key prospect data from the initial conversation, the web, tradeshows, and other sources while documenting the data in CRM/Salesforce
  • Engage with Business Development team members/resources to identify and isolate barriers to Progressive Leasing’s solution adoption (Sales Productivity Enablement)
YOU'LL BRING:
  • 8+ years’ experience in B2B (preferred) or B2C sales/business development
  • Experience selling financial services or technical software to C-level Executives
  • Proven negotiator with the ability to drive the successful development of Organizational Partnerships
  • Strategic thinker with proven experience as a change leader
  • Advanced ability to provide dynamic and consultative support
  • Effective performance in a sales team environment
  • Build productive working relationships with key stakeholders cross functionally and work independently with limited supervision
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and promotion strategy development
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with persuasive presentation ability in PowerPoint, Excel, CRMs (Dynamics 365, SalesForce, etc.), and Selling/Hunting tools (Xant, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Planning and process development skills with strong business judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver results in response to multiple conflicting priorities
  • Develop influential relationships/partnerships with clients and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent on-the-job experience
