Responsibilities:
- Perform process analysis, data modeling, improvement identification, and requirements analysis against the existing execution plan and IT/Application Strategies, process framework, value streams, and externally interfacing policy and processes
- Work with stakeholder groups to develop new and improved capabilities based on use cases and business needs through facilitated working sessions to leverage user-centered design best practices
- Develop data templates for use in the development and automation of business processes
- Develop wireframes to visually capture information in data templates and to aid in requirement validation and understanding between customers and development teams
- Develop data models for use in the development and automation of business processes that illustrate the data hierarchies, data flows, and entity relationships based on analysis of value streams and process areas
- Support the development of metrics and measures that illustrate the return on investment of process improvement and automation efforts
- Support Governance through change and configuration management
- Document new and updated processes, procedures, use cases, requirements, and user stories
- Develop plans to transition old processes, practices, and systems to newly refined implementation
- Support the development of training material and conduct familiarization training of new processes to ensure process improvement effectiveness
- This may include documents, short videos, online content, or face-to-face transfer sessions as needed
- Facilitate user acceptance testing of changes and provide technical expertise during startup phase of the process to support successful implementation
- Integrate and align process analysis, modeling, automation, and improvement identification activities, and further derive discrete atomic and composite data element level definitions to produce a standardized and interoperable data dictionary
- Assist in the development and manage roadmaps utilizing approved tools and leveraging industry best practices and fully capture the program’s statement of work and scope, and illustrate the work in-progress and planned for initiatives and projects with anticipated milestones
- Assist in the development and management of program Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and contract WBS
- Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and actively update the IMS as established in the projects Baseline Control documentation, utilize the IMS to support EVM efforts, perform “What-if” analysis, and report on the best corrective action needed to keep projects on schedule.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Engineering, Physical Science or Technology related specialty.
- At least six (6) years of experience in assigned job duties as a Project Manager.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Additional years of experience may be substituted for the PMP requirement
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams.
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment (preferably with Network Engineers) and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
Preferred Requirements
- Experience managing Government projects
- Experience working with the Department of the Navy
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- CSM certification
Salary $70,000+ to align with education and experience.
