Country Smoke House has been in business since 1988. We started processing deer as a hobby for some extra money on the side, and the deer business just kept growing for us! In 2000, we put up our retail store and became a Wild Game Meats, Gourmet Meats & Specialty Foods Store. Thanks to our dedicated customers our store continued to grow! Over the years, Country Smoke House has turned into a main stop for people going up north or every day or weekly stop to fill the cupboards and their fridge! Our business has grown to a level we never dreamed we'd reach! We are currently the Largest Deer Processor in the state! We are also The Largest for the types of sausage we make!
We have just completed the construction of our beautiful new building and are excited to expand our Country Smoke House family!
Looking for individuals with a positive attitude, are dependable, and able to coordinate with team members. Applicants must be self-motivated and a drive for strong customer service is a must in a very active work environment.
No prior experience is required.
Daytime position.
Flexibility in schedule, as hours, may fluctuate due to promotional and seasonal events up to full-time hours.
Job Duties:
· Work with a team of experienced master butchers to break down, grind and package domestic and wild game animals.
· Use of tools like knifes, saws, grinders, and poly clip safely and effectively
· Keep a clean work area including deep cleaning and sanitation of all work surfaces, tool, machines, and utensils daily
· Ability to lift upwards of 100lb
· Working environment is sometimes cold (Seasonal)
· Stand for long periods of time up to 10 hours except breaks and meals
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour
