This SALARIED (Mon-Fri) opportunity plays a critical role in upholding one of our core values, safety! Some of these pieces include ensuring compliance to our Management of Change (MOC) and Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) programs and managing the audit requirements of PSM.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Process Safety Management and DHA programs:
• Oversee the Change Management process and provide guidance to covered departments on ensuring consistency with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) expectations
• Ensure compliance with the 14-Elements of PSM
• Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA)
• Lead and manage PSM and DHA audits, both internal and third party
• Participate in PSM Incident Investigations
• Collaborate with engineering on the location and storage of Process Safety Information (PSI) for the covered processes to include equipment involved in producing products which generate combustible dust
• Partner with maintenance on ensuring mechanical integrity testing is being completed on covered process equipment
• Collaborate with covered departments on ensuring operator training is being done per PSM program requirements and that documentation of training is being stored consistent with Record Retention policies

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (Engineering, Safety, or Environmental) or equivalent work experience required

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience and leadership in a Process Management role
• Management of Change (MOC) experience including submission, review, and completion
• Third party PSM training including PSM fundamentals and Leader Software training
• Excellent communication skills to provide guidance, facilitate meetings, and tactfully hold others accountable
• Strong organizational skills
