CASAC-T Counselor Job at Harlem East Life Plan
Harlem East Life Plan is a fully licensed and accredited Article 28 diagnostic and treatment facility, seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated CASAC, CASAC-T, or Bachelor level to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. Candidates will conduct individual and group counseling, intake interview, and risk assessments to motivate and treat specialized addiction medicine patients. Candidates MUST have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Entry-level position and after you will learn patient engagement, motivational interviewing, and quality case chart documentation.
This position is an opportunity for someone newly credentialed and is at the beginning stages of building a strong foundation in the counseling field. Clinical supervision and clinical hours toward credentialing are available.

Agency is located around various forms of public transportation (Nearby buses: BXM7, M116, M15-SBS Trains: 4,5,6 and Metro-North).

Responsibilities:
- To manage a caseload of 50-60 addiction medicine patients
- Coordinate care to ensure individual treatment needs are met
- Provide individual counseling to address and resolve life area risks
- Provide group counseling to offer support in the change process.
- To maintain accurate case records of any/all individuals served.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
