Job Title: Cashier
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: General Manager and Assistant

Position Summary:
A cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash
register or point-of-sale system. Their duties include balancing the cash register, making
change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale. Each day the
cashiers must also complete the open/close checklist.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer
- Answer customers questions about products/services
- Handle customer complaints
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Maintain a stocked inventory
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High school diploma
- At least (1) year work experience
- Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements & Demands:
- This position requires repeated bending, lifting, squatting and standing for long hours.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00/hour.
