The Grill Cashier/Cook is responsible for providing internal and external guests with quality service and food. The Grill Cashier/Cook is also responsible for cash handling. The Grill Cashier/Cook’s performance is necessary to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment.
Requirements:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all inclusive or restrictive.
- Prepares food items by grilling and frying methods.
- Prepares coffee and/or tea, wash and stack dishes, clean and scrub pots and pans.
- Sweep and mop floors in kitchen or dining area.
- Portions, arranges, garnishes, and serves food to patrons.
- Operates large volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers or griddles.
- Works as a Cashier when needed.
- Attends and satisfactorily completes all training as assigned by the Grill Supervisor or Manager.
- Performs prep duties for their shift and the following shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Professional appearance and presentation required.
- Maintains a current Food Handler’s License.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent to include Home School Certificate.
