Colorado Eye Consultants is looking for a Clinic Manager to lead its high-performing clinic team. The clinic team plays a vital role in supporting the providers and providing patients the quality of life they deserve. The Clinic Manager ensures that the clinic is running smoothly, manages the clinic staff, and optimizes patient flow. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least 3-5 years of prior management experience in an ophthalmology practice is required.
5+ years of ophthalmology clinical experience.
Detailed knowledge of proper chart documentation.
Background in coding requirements.
Knowledge of MIPS requirements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
People leadership skills, including recruiting, training, and onboarding new staff.
Efficiency-minded; able to fine-tune and improve processes and patient flow as needed.
Professional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, administrator, staff, patients, and other healthcare providers.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and professional conduct; able to interact well with and get the best out of different personalities.
Exceptional computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
Impeccable organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as perform as a team player.
Knowledge of EMR/EHR software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the clinical staff, including scheduling, recruitment, training, evaluations, and development.
Meet regularly with the administrator, providers, and other managers to brainstorm and implement areas of improvement.
Manage clinic operations, including proactively reviewing provider schedules and templates to optimize patient flow, identifying opportunities to use software to make processes more efficient, and performing random chart audits to provide feedback for improvement.
Respond quickly and effectively to patient complaints within the clinical department and address areas of improvement with processes and/or staff to maintain exceptional customer service standards.
Proactively maintain in-depth knowledge of MIPS requirements; communicate and implement MIPS adjustments based on monthly calls with the MIPS advisor.
Collaborate with administrator, providers, and management team on companywide initiatives to ensure the seamless coordination of efforts and success.
