Clinical Executive Director Job at Selah Jeffersonville
The Executive Director will be responsible for the operations of our outpatient office for Selah House. This position will be key in growing the Selah House brand in Kentucky and southern Indiana and surrounding states. Selah House operates services for clients dealing with Eating Disorders.
Relationships and Contacts
Within the organization: The Executive Director provides leadership to all staff located at the Jeffersonville Outpatient Office, as well as regional and national leaders throughout the Eating Disorder Network and Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare.
Outside the organization: Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with clinical and healthcare providers, community partners, vendors, and potential clients/families.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with network leadership in new business development, networking, and outreach strategies in support of the regional office
- Coordinates day-to-day operations to achieve goals and ensures smooth and efficient functioning to meet the requirements of the State.
- Ensures achievement of business objectives through day-to-day operational, financial, clinical, and regulatory oversite of a treatment facility.
- Promotes professional growth and development of staff throughout all levels of the facility, championing effective teamwork and critical thinking.
- Ensures compliance with all licensure, accreditations, contracts, state, and federal laws.
- Ensures the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including patient rights.
- Monitors and continuously improves program quality through research and application of industry best practices.
- Establishes a welcoming environment and strong customer service focus throughout the facility.
- Promotes systems of communication and collaboration between Admissions, Clinical Partnerships, and operations.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with physicians, referral sources, families, and other stakeholders.
- Leads and participates in performance improvement initiatives for patient care and staff performance.
Demonstrates an effective, adaptive leadership style that promotes innovation and accountability and establishes work priorities, delegates pertinent activities.- Assesses patient needs through outcome surveys, suggestions, and meetings to assure consistent, quality care for the population we serve to include follow-up with adjustments of the development of the program.
- Works closely with clinicians ensuring excellence in clinical delivery in accordance with established guidelines and program philosophy.
- Monitors and reports on key performance indicators; adjusting operations accordingly to meet organizational objectives.
- Oversees the development and management of facility budgets, ensuring responsible stewardship of company resources.
- Ensures accessibility of services to potential clients.
- Establishes clear patterns of authority, responsibility, supervision, and communication with staff, including regular documented staff meetings and individual supervision with direct reports.
- Provides coaching and feedback for staff development and performance improvement.
- Creates and maintains an open-door environment and is present and visible in the treatment areas.
Additional Responsibilities
- Delegates authority and monitors results regularly.
- Communicates necessary information in a timely and organized manner; invites and responds to staff needs and feedback in a timely manner.
ISJPOP
Position requires a Master’s Degree and LCSW or LPCC and a minimum of 5 years of related leadership experience in a behavioral healthcare setting. Experience working in a corporate managed healthcare environment strongly preferred.
Other Requirements
- Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license.

- Administrative experience in mental health and Eating Disorder service delivery system.
