The Clinical Pharmacist is a highly trained practitioner who plays an active role in managing all aspects of medication therapy in an acute-care hospital setting. Position tasks and responsibilities include; performing duties independently on Unit-based Clinical Service Areas, Central Pharmacy, Children’s Hospital Pharmacy, Emergency Department Satellite, and Intensive Care Unit Satellite Pharmacies.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmacy Education.
• BS or Pharm.D degree.

LICENSURE:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS required
• ACLS and or PALS may be required depending on area working in

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 1 year as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting.
