Organization Overview and Mission:
Dahlia's Hope is one of the only holistic, aftercare program in Utah, and one of the few national comprehensive aftercare organizations for survivors of sex trafficking. We help survivors function independently and successfully in society through a multi-tiered approach to reach individuals at their own stages of recovery. We provide essential services to our trafficking survivors, with a focus on clinical therapy. Through clinical therapy, survivors will have access to recreational therapy, animal therapy, educational services, vocational training, health/life skills training, and housing services. All of these services are provided with the goal to lead survivors to optimism and independence. Dahlia’s Hope is seeking inspired, talented people who want to be make a difference in the lives of survivors of sex trafficking.

Position Summary:
We are looking for dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic clinical therapists to join our team. The therapist will be willing to lead group therapy sessions for our survivors as well as individual therapy. Dahlia’s Hope’s therapy modalities are Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, and other trauma informed modalities; the therapist will be expected to be already trained in ART/EMDR/DBT, or willing to engage in formal ART/DBT training. The therapist will participate in weekly group clinical supervision with the Clinical Director and the rest of the clinical team, will attend staff meetings as assigned, and will have opportunities to participate in volunteer projects with Dahlia’s Hope. You will have the opportunity to work with a service team including case managers and recreational therapists. Daily expectations are to be on time to sessions and groups, complete clinical and group progress notes daily, attend all meetings as assigned, uphold high standards of confidentiality, be a team player, and present themselves in a professional manner. Professional Experience & Qualifications:
(1) A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field with related full licensure
(2) An ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience in the behavioral or mental health field working with populations experiencing sexual trauma, suicide ideation/self-harm urges and behaviors, or clients who have Borderline Personality Disorder and dissociative disorders

Preferred:
● Completed a graduate level course(s) in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and/or have been trained in DBT through BehaviorTech.org or other DBT certification-level trainings
● Completed trainings and hours for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Accelerated Resolution Therapy

In Addition:
● Must have a desire to work with survivors of sex trafficking, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders
● References upon request for the past three years
● Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
● Must be well organized, able to multitask, and have excellent written and verbal skills
● Experience working in a mental health trauma care setting with diverse populations is preferred

Licensing Qualifications:
● Must be a clinical therapist currently licensed in good standing in the state of Utah
● Will consider applicants holding the following licenses
LCSW/CMHC/LMFT/PhD

Expectations of Dahlia’s Hope Therapists:
● Ability to conduct Individual ART/EMDR and DBT therapy, or willingness to be trained
● Ability to lead or co-facilitate weekly DBT skills groups
● Ability to conduct and document intake/assessments
● Participation in weekly clinical consult team meeting on Thursday mornings
● Treatment planning and coordination of survivor care
● Ability to complete documentation in a timely fashion
● High level of ethics and concern for survivor care
● Commitment to mindfulness-based self-care practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
