Finley Hartig Homecare is seeking a motivated, team oriented, full time CNA/LPN/MA to join their winning team in Dubuque, IA. This position is primarily responsible for delivery and set-up of oxygen, PAP/Bilevel machines, nebulizers and other home respiratory equipment. Additional job duties include verifying insurance and determining patient eligibility for equipment and services, which is included as part of the patient/family education. Other responsibilities may include assisting with medical records, obtaining records from providers, collecting deductible and coinsurance payment, obtaining prior approvals from insurance companies, customer service and answering phones. This position requires facilitating communication between patients, referral sources and providers to assure that insurance guidelines are met and maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work with a high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail.
• Very organized in work duties and procedures
• Ability to multi-task several job duties
• Proficient computer skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record.
• Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Current CNA/LPN/MA certification
• Home medical experience preferred but not required.
• Must be licensed in Iowa and may be required to obtain license in neighboring states
• Maintain CEUs as required by state law.

• Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm.
• Rotating Saturdays (approximately once per month) 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Rotating on Call
• One weeknight per week, and
• Every 4thweekend, and
• Rotating holidays
