CNC Tech Positions / 1st and 2nd shift! Job at Co-Staff Corp.
Co-Staff Corp is hiring multiple CNC Machinist, Setup Techs, operators and grinders for both 1st and 2nd shifts. We have openings in Janesville, Beloit WI, South Beloit, and Roscoe IL.
Job Summary:
Set up, adjust, and operate conventional or computer numeric controlled internal and/or external grinders to grind surfaces of exacting dimensional and finish requirements. Edit and prove programs and/or manually program at the machine computer console. Dress wheels to obtain desired contours. Maintains a high productivity rate and constantly strives to improve productivity.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Requires physical ability and stamina to perform the essential functions of the position, including the ability to walk, stand, lift, carry up to 50 pounds, push, kneel, bend, stoop, reach over and under waist level, twist for extended periods of time on cement or other hard surfaces, etc.
- Demonstrates the verbal and written communication skills necessary to complete forms and take messages in a legible, accurate manner.
- Two-year certification from technical school or two plus years of experience.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Ability to use a computer.
