BTX Global Logistics is seeking a professional individual with a track record or related skills to succeed within the global freight forwarding industry. The Collections Representative is responsible for supporting the BTX Corporate business unit operations, customer service, compliance, SOPs and KPIs. BTX Global Logistics is a global transportation and logistics organization with over 30 regional branches in the U.S. and Canada. Ultimately, this position will be responsible for the quality of service and profitability of the corporate global operations teams in accordance to the company’s overall strategic goals.

The Collections Representative will be a key member of the BTX Global Logistics team.

Duties Include:

• Responsible for handling accounts in assigned stations
• Call and email regarding past due accounts.
• Monitor and analyze account’s that may require credit holds/increases
• Refers accounts to Credit Department as needed
• Process invoice corrections
• Handle disputes and works with the station to resolve
• Research payments and obtain necessary remittances
• Escalate accounts needing outside collections
• Run and create aging reports for stations and customers
• Create Ad Hoch customer excel reports
• Performing other related duties as assigned

This position is on site. M – F 8:30 – 5pm.

Summary of Desired Qualifications:

• High School degree or equivalent
• 2-5 years of previous Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Customer Service experience
• Experience in a transportation industry and/or call center environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as analysis software
• Basic understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures and strategies used in credit analysis
• Ability to identify and investigate discrepancies and problems
• Proven diverse background in all aspects of credit within a logistics environment a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.63 - $23.07 per hour
