Collision Center Painter Helper Job at DARCARS Automotive Group
Purpose:
- The Painter’s Helper is responsible for assisting Painter in painting parts after body repair work is complete.The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Requirements:
- Assist Painter as needed.
- Applies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.
- Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting.
- Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
- Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries.
- Requests necessary materials.
- Performs paint jobs efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate equipment to perform painting functions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to deal effectively with customers and dealership personnel
- Team oriented
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
