Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a* Community Liaison to join our team in INDEPENDENCE!*
The successful candidate will work closely with Facility Activity Coordinators to promote Good Shepherd Hospice through activities and relationship building. The Community Liaison will focus on developing and maintaining positive internal and external relationships and assist with health fairs and community activities as needed. Will be active in planning events in the community as well as acting as the right hand to the Director of Sales in a supporting role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team player with all members of the program
  • Able to communicate effectively with direct supervisor and team members
  • Organized, detail-oriented and self-sufficient in handling daily tasks with little supervision
  • Flexible and able to prioritize tasks to meet GSH expectations
  • Consistent, reliable, and prepared professional daily execution of the goals to achieve
  • Ability to develop strategic relationships and goals in assigned referral partners with support from the RDBD and ED
  • Willing to learn and develop into a hospice community educator in the program for community support
  • Educate and inform key referral partners on the benefits of the hospice benefit for awareness and understanding to increase quality outcomes and ADC growth
  • Attitude and mindset to be successful and determined to grow market share in the program

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Thorough knowledge of sales techniques and market analysis with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals
  • Demonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of care
  • Proficient in financial analysis and technology (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
  • Valid drivers license
  • Appropriate auto insurance coverage
  • Can successfully pass background checks
