NeuLine Health is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our cohesive team. NeuLine Health Management leads/manages a collaboration of healthcare entities in various medical settings. A successful Compliance Manager will perform as follows:
Responsibilities:
Implementing and tracking company HIPAA training for new staff / contractors
Review and revise HIPAA policies and procedures
Maintaining & tracking enrollment with the Secretary of States for multiple states
Tracking and updating license expirations for multiple healthcare professionals
Collaborate with IT, (Privacy and Security vendor) in conjunction with human resources regarding IT, Privacy and Security compliance issues
Perform all the tasks and reviews required by the HIPAA Security/Privacy Officer in our HIPAA policies and procedures
Review and perform all the tasks and reviews required by Compliance in our Joint Commission policies and procedures
Review and track RSA and BAA credentials and advise sales on physicians who meets our reading credentials and is therefore eligible for an RSA (includes ABPN, state Med License(s) and OIG Exclusion database checks)
Check/download the ABPN and various state Med License verifications for all reading physicians who meet our reading criteria for use by AR
Input RSA credentials into CRM fort expiration date tracking purposes
Review and update the Neuro Reading Options sheet relative to RSA and BAA and work with OPS to ensure maintenance of the data
Receive and track receipt of Physician Signature logs for ALL physicians (referring, RSA, BAA)
Review and track the geographical states where we employee full-time employees and 1099 affiliates and coordinate with our insurance company to ensure the workers compensation policies are up to date with each state coverages
Work with CEO and our GLI, PLI, Business Property and WC insurance provider to ensure all policies are up to date and managed properly
Review and track geographical states where the company has business engagements and coordinate with MyCorporation (who works with our payroll vendor 'PayChex') to ensure proper enrollment with the various secretary of states, including ongoing annual reporting, virtual offices if needed, registered agents etc.
Provide Payer Relations needed information/documents for document completion, new account setups / onboarding (electronic record enrollments, ERA/EDI and EFT setups, etc) and to complete payer INN applications for various entities
Work with OPS to ensure electronic patient records are maintained (PM and/or EHR) are compliant
Attend sessions for company software (NextGen) regulatory updates regarding No Surprises Act, MIPS, CMS, Cures Act, OIG etc and notify Executives of upcoming compliance items
Obtain and review necessary documents for the various CORE entities during their onboarding, including checking the OIG exclusion database to confirm the physicians we are working with are not on that list
Review the Local Determination and Articles from CMS/Novitas Solutions as well as CMS publications related to IDTFs to ensure continuous compliance
Coordinate with attorneys as needed regarding various compliance matters
Tracking Vendor agreements
Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Practicing within the realm of HIPAA compliance at all times
Other duties as assigned
