Job Description:
The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the overall success of the projects assigned. Including but not limited to meeting the target cost, schedule, safety, quality standards and reducing liability. The PM will either directly or through the Superintendents, instruct, interface, and communicate with the different trades on all jobsites, as well as with clients, consultants, and management staff.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plans, coordinates, and schedules project in logical steps to allocate the right resources to get the project completed within the required deadline time
· Understands and evaluates job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and procedures needed for each project to be able to review, qualify or negotiate with all subcontractors’ proposals prior to awarding projects
· Interprets and relays plans and contract terms to administrative staff, employees, client reps, owners or developers as needed
· Inspects and reviews project constantly, to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations that could include, county, city, or state
· Investigates damages, accidents or delays due to bad weather, logistics or other factors affecting the timeline of the project and ensure proper procedure and correction needed, to recover time lost and get the project back on track
· Determine labor requirements for each project assigned to verify the accurate dispatching of employees, subcontractors and requisitions of supplies and materials
· Partners with the PE role to ensure that all document control is being fulfilled appropriately as well as managing the entire project controls documentation to be certain that they are current and up to date
· Meet with and develop long lasting relationship with clients
· Required to wear PPE to include safety glasses, gloves, back brace, hard hat, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
