Express is now hiring for a Plant Controller for a local manufacturing company based out of Olympia, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm. The compensation for this position ranges from $82,000-$108,000k DOE. Benefits for this position start on day one of hire and include, Medical/Dental/Vision, HSA, 9 paid Holidays, 80 hours of PTO, ARP Wellbeing Program, Employer paid Life, 401k plan with match totaling up to 11% per year as well as additional reimbursement and recognition programs.

Job Duties:

• Provide financial direction and support to plant manager and core management team regarding financial planning, budgeting, accruals, or investment activities of the plant.
• Measure performance and communicate results
• Primary facility contact person for audits of company accounts and financial transactions
• Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports; lead discussions for all financial portions of plant monthly financial reviews.
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Maintain a strong internal controls and policy compliance culture in accordance with all organization policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives and current tax rules.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting. Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as plant controller or cost manager in a manufacturing environment, plant manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.
• High level proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems, SAP R/3 experience preferred
• Experience developing and leading annual budget, periodic forecasting and monthly closing process.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.
• Previous experience in a SOX/GAAP accounting environment is preferred.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment
