Coordinator, Fitness, Walton Life Fitness Center Job at Walmart
Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Assists with members' fitness needs by assessing members' body compositions and advising members on exercise options; providing fitness class instruction by instructing Teen Strength and Conditioning classes; and coaching de-conditioned members in The Jump Start Circuit Room.
Encourages members to use proper body mechanics when utilizing fitness equipment by demonstrating knowledge of kinesiology, bio mechanics, and fitness; conducting orientations and explaining proper weightlifting techniques and cardio machine usage; enforcing weightlifting and cardio rules and guidelines; and spotting members that are lifting weights to ensure proper technique.
Ensures the Walton Life Fitness Center is a clean, safe, and inviting environment by ensuring compliance with applicable company policies and procedures; performing cleaning tasks (for example, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning mirrors, and wiping down equipment in weight and cardio room); and evaluating condition of weight and cardio equipment and communicating unsafe conditions to Fitness Manager.
Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
