At Coldstone friendliness, cleanliness, and speed are some of the skills that we appreciate. Here are a few of our responsibilities during the morning shift.

Opening: This includes cleaning up what might have been missed the previous night. As well completing all the prep for the day up to standard so the rest of the day runs smoothly.

Ice-cream & Waffle Cones: This starts with making a list, finding out how much ice cream and waffle Cones we will need to make to last us throughout the day. We make both of these fresh everyday. We also dip the waffle cones, and coat them with chocolate or candy toppings while we're doing this. The key is to really pay attention to what you're making. Are you making a product that you're proud of? The answer should always be yes.

Cakes: Making cakes also begins with making a list of what we have and what you'll need in order to keep our cake freezer stocked and to get custom cakes out in a timely manner. This includes building them from scratch, frosting, decorating either a signature style or a customer's custom cake.

Customers: In between daily tasks you and your co-workers will be responsible for taking good care of customers as they come in. Greeting them as soon as they walk through the door as customers take priority over all of the other responsibilities. You will also need to be attentive and get online orders and doordash orders finished as they come through.

Shift Exchange: This just includes making sure you've finished everything and it is all wrapped up. Making sure everything is stocked and looking well so that we can have a successful night shift.

You'll need to be dependable as we do not have many employees available in the mornings. It's also important that you have a lot of drive and independence. This is because after your training period we would like it if you can begin to see asses for yourself what needs to get done, and to be able to prioritize and manage your time with the tasks throughout the day and get things done in a timely manner.
