Custodian, Event Setup, Housekeeping Job at THE TUXEDO CLUB
Job Details
The Custodian/Houseman is responsible for assisting the Head Steward in a variety of areas around the club such as food & beverage, event setups, transportation, maintenance & light cleaning.
Reports to: Clubhouse Manager, Head Steward
Works in conjunction with: Clubhouse Manager, Golf Clubhouse Manager & Director of Events
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the head steward in event setups/breakdowns: tables, chairs, buffet equipment, etc.
- Transport personnel and materials between the two locations.
- Perform light housekeeping
- Assist waterfront and pool operations with seasonal setup and breakdown.
- Periodically assist in general maintenance projects.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays & evenings.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work within an empowered and fast paced environment
