Do you have a high level of accuracy?

The Estimator and Procurement prepares estimates for all labor and material to construct custom homes. The Estimator supervises and directs all aspects of the bid process and is responsible for entering into negotiations with trade partners and suppliers. The Estimator reviews and authorizing purchase orders, price changes and maintains scopes of work. Recruits and on-board trade partners and suppliers. Analyzes variances for root cause and provides input to design and construction team to reduce occurrences.

Requirements

You will thrive in this role if you:

• have 3 years residential construction purchasing and/or estimating experience
• have an analytical mindset
• have strong negotiation skills
• are professional and knowledgeable in residential construction
• understand and use business processes
• are detail oriented and thorough
• are proficient using spreadsheets and take-off software (BlueBeam, Planswift, Stack, construction connect). We use Co-Construct, Bluebeam and Planswift.

Location

This position can be based out of our Poulsbo or Sequim office. We build all over the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. A great place to live if you like the outdoors and want to be away from the city.
