Swagelok Pittsburgh is searching for an energetic Customer Service Representative to join our team. We prefer someone with prior Customer Service experience, but we are willing to train the right person. The right person has a positive, ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude. In this role, you will work together with the team to deliver exceptional service and support to customers. We provide an excellent work life balance with stable schedules. Our business hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently process quotes & purchase orders in a fast-paced environment
• Assisting customers with product explanations, pricing, availability, and suggesting additional/related items that are helpful
• Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions.
• Placing purchase orders to include coordinating deliveries with suppliers
• Working with and in other departments (warehouse, fabrication) when needed to find solutions that meet customer expectations
• Contributing as a critical member of our high-performance team where your demonstrated teamwork & collaboration will help to achieve our collective success

What you will need to succeed at Swagelok Pittsburgh:

• A high school degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Desire to provide the best possible experience for our customers
• Experience communicating with customers over the phone and via email
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a close team environment
• Willingness to continue learning about products & procedures as you grow in this role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem solving, business acumen, and analytical skills
  
• Experience with SAP a plus
