BASIC FUNCTION

To continue and aid our success in delivering a Total Customer Experience, DeLaval is seeking a talented individual to be a Dairy Advisor responsible for providing customer support of milking equipment, farm management tools, and consulting services. A successful candidate will work with local sales managers, service technicians, and fellow advisors to help customers achieve optimal performance of their milking equipment. The Dairy Advisor will report to the DeLaval Dairy Service SRT General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop relationships with customers and help solve on farm problems
• Monitor VMS farm performance and provide routine reporting to customers
• Perform in depth parlor performance evaluation
• Provide on farm training for milking procedures and equipment use
• Assist in start up of new milking equipment and other DeLaval solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of DeLaval products to support solutions on farm
• Other Duties as required.

• Expect day trips and <25% over night travel throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington as well as travel within the US and Canada for training and meetings.

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in related field or 4 years of work experience in a dairy management role
• English (written and spoken) is required. Spanish is an advantage
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of dairy farm management is expected

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
