Job summary

Job Overview:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for using their knowledge of data processing software and business development strategies to provide sound business decisions to company Executives. Their duties include collaborating with other data professionals to extract data figures, creating reports based on their findings, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives’ success.

Essential Functions:

• Is the lead Business Unit Key User in the SAP process.
• Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
• Create reports for internal teams and/or external clients
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
• Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
• Structure large data sets to find usable information
• Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
• Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Consults with Engineering regarding machinery program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems.
• Uses data from appropriate business units, creates and tracks standard metrics to gauge the status/improvement of the applicable facility program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 plus years of experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality, or engineering area in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Expert/Advanced experience operating: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Minitab, Processing software.
• High level of interpersonal and leadership skills with capability to influence, coach, and partner across multiple levels of an organization and regions of the world.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience in automotive manufacturing and /or engineering and sales driven business
• Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization
• Bilingual German/Spanish a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
