iAdeptive is seeking a well-rounded hands-on engineer who is experienced in building business intelligent reporting systems with good communication skills to work with the stakeholders and other team members. Data Engineer to support a Healthcare project. This resource will be working remotely from home but must be able to travel up to 5 times per year for Agile planning meetings after Covid restrictions have been lifted. US citizenship or Green Card is required. You must have experience in analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives. The engineer must be able to create software in a variety of programming and for a variety of IT software applications. Must have experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs. You must reside within the United States.

General Qualifications

· BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a similar quantitative field, is preferred

· 8 years of additional, relevant experience may be substituted for education

Specific Qualifications

  • Responsible for developing and managing the data migration architecture.
  • Design and develop Python-based ETL/ELT jobs for data movements.
  • Responsible for all AWS infrastructure related to extra, transform, and storage, including AWS GLUE, AWS Spectrum, and AWS Athena.
  • Develop Lambda process to automate data extraction from AWS Data Lake
  • Should own DEVOPS automation scripts for data storage, transformation, and extrapolation, including GIT repositories, Jenkins jobs, and test automation.
  • Measure and monitor metrics for Scalability/Performance, including improving data processing times to enable near-real-time data synchronization.
  • Create test automation scripts to meet high quality software delivery by adopting a test first approach.
  • Assist contract management systems with implementing RPA for data quality and other contract-related processes to improve user experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Python for ELT and ETL.
  • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
  • Data preparation and data modeling skills
  • Experience of 3 years in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects
  • Experience of 3+ years and familiarity with full stack development of Business Intelligence solutions including Dashboard/Visualization, ETL, highly formatted and paginated reports and OLAP models
  • Experience in AWS data preparation and data storage toolsets is required
