Data Network Engineer Job at Pomeroy
Pomeroy is looking for a skilled Enterpsise Data Network Engineer. Candidate must have experience working with extreme data components. This is a fully remote role but you must be local to Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, manage, and maintain Extreme data switch network
- Manage infrastructure such as Checkpoint Firewall and Dataswitches
- Utilize experience with LLDP/EAP/DHCP
- VMWare
- Data network engineering for Avaya systems
Requirements
- 5-8 years’ experience working in an Enterprise Data networking solution using Extreme components
- Experience working with Avaya Aura solution components
- Experience with multiple Operating Systems – LINUX, Windows
- Prior experience working with government agencies a plus
- Certified Extreme Networks Engineer (preferred)
- Knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls and VMWare
- Expertise in LLDP/EAP/DHCP
- Must be able to obtain Public Trust Level 1 clearance
- Candidate must be local to Baltimore MD
- Excellent communications skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour
