Day Porter Job at JANCOA
The Day Porter will be friendly, professional, organized, and work quickly. The JANCOA Day Porter will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Positively represent JANCOA by being well kept in dress code with a friendly attitude every day.
Clock in and out daily through the Paycor time keeping system.
Upkeep of restrooms, stocking toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash liners, feminine hygiene products, etc. Clean up spills, spots, and accidents.
Clean up public areas and customer requests as needed.
Police outside of buildings to ensure trash is picked up.
Gather and dispose of trash according to your building’s specifications.
Keep supplies and closet clean.
Confirm broken fixture reports and maintenance issues to JANCOA office staff.
Communicate missed tasks and/or incomplete duties that do not meet the JANCOA standard with JANCOA office.
Quickly respond to and follow up on client and office requests through mobile phone or radio communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
Understands and demonstrates JANCOA values
Solution oriented
Excellent communication skills with customers and office staff
Proven record of reliability and accountability
Able to walk and stand for extended periods
Must be able to regularly lift/move 25 pounds and frequently lift/move 10 pounds
Must pass background check and drug test
