DRIVER NEEDED Full Time for Independent FedEx Ground Contractor (Oceanside & Carlsbad)
IMPORTANT: Must meet the following qualifications to be considered. Please do not apply if you do not meet these qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years (note: CDL is not required)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check (No Felonies)
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must be 21 years or older
JOB DESCRIPTION:
FedEx Ground contractor seeking a highly motivated and energetic delivery and pick up driver for full time employment.
Driver will deliver packages in predetermined area dispatching out of Oceanside terminal serving Oceanside and Carlsbad throughout the day.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must meet the following:
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to safely drive and deliver packages during entire work shift (excluding meal and rest periods)
- Ability to effectively plot out route for daily deliveries and pick ups
- Ability to lift over 80 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
- Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
