Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
  • Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
  • Preparing patients’ charts.
  • Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
  • Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
  • Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required for all positions
  • Required to travel between Philadelphia and Delaware County offices. (Center City, South Philadelphia, Clifton Heights, and Folsom)
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing and supporting as assigned

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING & CERTIFICATES REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Valid Driver’s License & Automobile Insurance
  • CPR certification (Offered On-site as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
