Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description:

Sumaria is currently seeking qualified candidates for a DevSecOps Engineer role. Candidates will provide guidance in architecture of hybrid-multi cloud design in a large DoD environment while working on a DevSecOps team. The successful candidate will work with third party vendors to integrate solutions into the DoD architecture and work with security teams to meet all compliance, regulatory, and security requirements. In addition, they will work within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two-to-three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, and utilizing sprint tracking software to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.

Required Skills/Education:

• Must have hands-on experience with multiple cloud technologies in an enterprise environment with proven previous experience, ability, or understanding
• Experience in creation and compliance of infrastructure as code and code for use in automation/orchestration within AWS or Azure
• Fluent in some or all the following languages: Python, DSL, JSON, YAML, HCL, GoLang, TypeScript, PowerShell, Bash
• Familiarity with some or all the following automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Pivotal, OpenShift
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, ADO, Code Pipeline, GitLab, Git/SCM
• Familiarity with Compliance standards: NIST 800.53, CIS
• Proficient in AWS services to include: IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS
• Proficient in Azure services to include: Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, SQL Database, App Service, Azure AD
• Securing AWS, Azure and automation/orchestration tools to industry standards and cloud provider best practices

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field or equivalent years of work experience in lieu of degree

Certifications: Minimum required DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+)

Years’ Experience: Minimum of 2 years industry experience providing support in a DevSecOps role

Security Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance Required
