Diesel Technician Job at SOUTHERN TIRE MART LLC
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Southern Tire Mart at Pilot in Woodhaven, MI.
- Performs repairs (including electrical and hydraulic systems) and assigned preventive maintenance services.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times. Patch, plug & replace semi tires. This is an in-shop and emergency roadside assistance position.
- Reviews and complete repairs identified.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Most be available for on call, Nights and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
