• Salary: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour - Based on experience

Our shifts have been designed to promote continuity of care for our residents and allow our team to enjoy ample time outside of work, while still providing consistent care to the residents. JOB DUTIES: Full-time Dietary Aide / Housekeeper

• Provides daily meals in accordance with dietary requirements for each resident
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties
• Maintain a clean, cheerful, homelike environment for our residents at all times
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures; wear hairnets, wear and use safety equipment and supplies, use hand washing procedures
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and supplies when handling infectious materials and/or hazardous wastes or chemicals
• Follow established policies governing the use/disposal of personal protective equipment and disposal of infectious wastes
• Ensure that an adequate supply of Homemaker supplies to perform daily tasks is maintained in utility/janitorial closets
• Clean resident rooms, including vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets, cleaning walls and baseboards, residents’ furniture and knick-knacks, dusting blinds, cleaning behind furniture, emptying trash, cleaning exterior and interior of trash cans.
• Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times
• Perform other job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: Full-time Dietary Aide / Housekeeper

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, speak and write English.
• Position requires some physical labor, push, pull and moves and/or lifts a minimum of 25 pounds. Will train specific requirements for long term care.
