We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated direct care staff to support our various medical, behavioral, supported independent living, and mental health & recovery programs!

What are the responsibilities of a direct care staff?
  • Helping with activities of daily living. This can include cooking, cleaning and arranging transportation for residents to & from appointments.
  • Providing hands-on support to the individuals based on their preferences and abilities. Every day is an opportunity to help someone achieve their goals!
  • Community Integration. Immersing individuals with disabilities into the community to participate in work, recreation, leisure, volunteer activities and socialization skills.
  • Explore a variety of a programs! Work with individuals with medical, behavioral, independent, and recovery needs.

Schedule:
We are looking for evening and overnight shifts. At least one weekend day availability is required for this role.

Starting pay rate: $17.25/hour. Shift & weekend hourly incentives ($2-$7 per hour)

Program Locations Include: Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Prospect, and Ridgefield


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license & vehicle
  • Willingness to learn!
  • No experience needed!
