Summary: The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) is a $70m professional association that represents state and territorial health agencies. We are looking for a director of contracts who has solid experience working in the grants field, has directly supervised several employees, and is knowledgeable in contracts development and execution. Location: Remote

Anticipated salary: $90,000 Extended experience: up to $107,500 if experience exceeds expectations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a director level position overseeing contract development and administration.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills to include proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook Word and Excel, and experience with accounting and contracts system software and other database applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven skills with principles and practices of federal grants and contracts administration, including familiarity with the Uniform Grants Guidance and FAR.
• Knowledge of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services cooperative agreement regulations and guidelines strongly preferred.
