Director of Patient Services
New Haven Assisted Living Facility, is seeking to hire a
Director of Patient Services. We have our eye out for an DPS who can support a collaborative team approach through providing guidance, and a continued commitment to excellence in resident care.
Top candidates must have extensive experience in ALP policies and procedures, and address business from a creative and compassionate point of view.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Current NYS license and registration as an RN in good standing condition
- Minimum (2) years community nursing experience
- Knowledge of Adult Care facilitates and applicable regulations desired.
- Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, residents, and families from diverse backgrounds who may have physical, sensory and mental impairments
JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the Agency/ALP operations and standards comply with all local, state and federal rules, regulations and statutes;
- Participate in the development of administrative policies and procedures
- Maintain responsibility for communicating with the CHHA regarding skilled services provided by CHHA staff or a change in a client’s condition that requires assessment by CHHA Staff;
- Recommend to the governing authority necessary changes in the policies, procedures and operations of the ALP such that practices remain within requirements and prevailing standards
- Familiar with UAS system
- Coordinate/ensure care is provided as per resident need
