Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now hiring a Dishwasher / Dietary Aide to join our Dining Services team!

Shift time 4pm - 8pm.

The Dining Services department at Hanover Hill is responsible for providing the highest quality dining experience to meet the dietary needs of our residents in our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Job Requirements:

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required prior to start of employment
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must possess and maintain a customer service oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and to accept constructive criticism
• Must be flexible in receiving work duties during work hours

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled duties as well as special cleaning of work areas and equipment in the kitchen, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain the flexibility to be trained and work in both the dish room as well as in the dining areas throughout the facility.
• Assist in serving meals and snacks as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Deliver and pick up food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
• Assure that food service and dishwashing schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Clean and wash all silverware, china, pots and pans, etc. as directed and assure that utensils, china, etc. are readily available for next meal.
• Sweep and mop floors and clean walls as directed.
• Deliver and pick up food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
• Remove food trays from food carts and wash. Wash carts and condiment containers as directed.
• Take all rubbish and garbage to dumpster and clean area around dumpster as directed.
• Help put away delivery stock; break up cardboard boxes and discard them in dumpster.
