The mission of the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) is transforming lives, influencing change, strengthening community. To accomplish this mission, the ND DOCR utilizes more than 100 different job classifications or type of work. Our employees provide many different services to a diverse correctional population of juveniles, and adults, such as therapeutic rehabilitation, medical care, physical plant services, education, information technology, and a variety of correctional security and law enforcement jobs responsible for security and management of individuals in custody of the DOCR.

The ND DOCR Division of Parole and Probation Bismarck District Office has an exciting part-time position for an Drug Court Coordinator Assistant. This position will assist the Bismarck Drug Court Coordinator and assist in the overall management of the districts Drug Court clients. Starting salary is $20.00/hour. Although this position is classified as temporary, it is on going in duration.
Duties and Tasks
Conduct drug court applicant interviews, assessments and coordinate admission into the program.
Coordinate and attend weekly drug court staffings and court sessions.
Work closely with the state courts, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers and community stakeholders.
Provide weekly updates to drug court team members.
Maintain drug court program statistical data.
Purchase and manage incentives and maintain a budget.
Manage and update drug court forms.
Assist with community engagement activities.
Assist the drug court coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a High School diploma or GED and 60 college credits applicable to a bachelors degree in behavioral science is preferred. The appointing authority shall designate specific degree and experience requirements pertinent to the position at the time of recruitment. Must be able to meet strict deadlines, manage time independently to meet deadlines, have proficient oral and written communication skills and be able to work as a part of a team.
