About this role:
The Centralized Operational Risk Review and Quality Assurance Team, within the Enterprise Complaints Management Office (ECMO), is seeking a Business Accountability Manager to lead a team responsible for executing on internal quality reviews, and control reporting initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for coordination and oversight of these ongoing monitoring initiatives and also assist with work supporting ECMO Leadership, Exam Management, Audit, Control, Legal, Compliance, Complaint Oversight and IT&V. Your primary responsibilities will involve oversight for Internal Quality Reviews (IQR), IQR disputes, second level reviews, and daily control reporting. As a part of the Leadership Team, you will also support the operational needs of the team.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of specialists and coordinators tasked with activities in support of the business' risk mitigation activities
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation, and control opportunities
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of team to meet business objectives; interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity and risk within scope of responsibilities
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for team
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
- 4+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- CRCM certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Complaints Management Policy, Internal Control Policy, and Self-Assurance Activities Policy
- 2 + years Operational Risk Review experience
- Assessing complaints for regulatory and risk applicability
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to keep the team on task, prioritize work, process multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Proven leadership ability to drive successful execution of business initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience recognizing meaningful patterns, connections, and trends when analyzing data through the use of inductive reasoning, critical thinking and regulatory subject matter expertise.
- Experience with articulating complex concepts in a clear manner to stakeholders and to various levels of leadership.
- Demonstrate ability to research, interpret, evaluate, and apply laws, regulations, rules, standards and industry practices, including implementing resulting changes
- Hybrid schedule - the position is not 100% remote.
- Pay Range: 111,100.00 - 197,500.00 USD Annual
