SUMMARY
This position is located at our Wellsburg, WV plant for the Justrite Safety Group. The Industrial Electrician will analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
- Follows all safety precautions and procedures.
- Read electrical and electronic schematics basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Observe standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the occupational Health & Safety Act rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, working well in a team environment.
- Pulling wires and termination conductors in disconnects, panel boards, control panels, motor starters.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain electrical motors and motor controllers including manual starters, push buttons, relays, control transformers, magnetic starters and VFDs.
- Working with both low voltage signal, control, and power circuits up to 480 volts.
- Timely response to emergency repairs.
- Install, diagnose and repair electrical controls, systems, apparatus, and electrical components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
- Two year Industrial Electronics degree or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Journeyman Electrician is preferred
