Summary
Leading Edge Academy is accepting applications for several Elementary Teaching positions at our Maricopa campus. The Leading Edge Charter Network is K-12, with an emphasis on advanced academics and character development, utilizing a best practices/data-driven instruction model and current, research-based curriculum. Our schools have small class sizes and a safe family feel.
These positions are for the 2023-2024 School Year . Salary is commensurate with experience. Performance bonus available. Benefits available, but not part of the AZ State retirement system.
Duties
Academic Duties:
o Plans a program of study, employing a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students as well as state academic standards
o Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
o Utilizes multi-sensory activities including audio/visual and computer presentations, outside and change of location activities, visuals, and graphics
o Evaluates students' academic and social growth, maintains accurate gradebook, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports and report cards.
o Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulations.
o Demonstrates effective communication skills with parents, students, Principal, other teachers/aides, and District staff
o Posts grades to gradebook in a timely manner to provide parents and students with accurate information
Job Type: Full-Time

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Meets all appropriately certified requirements for the grade level or subject area including proper teaching area endorsements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- AZ State Fingerprint clearance card required upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- AZ Teacher Certification a plus, but not required.
- Two or more years classroom teaching experience preferred.
