OVERVIEW
Pratt & Whitney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities as part of the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization. The EDSI organization is a multi-functional group that provides system level engineering solutions to meet customer requirements. The MBSE discipline follows a methodological approach to support the development of complex systems through the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation phases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support requirement management, systems, and design integration activities.
Demonstrate analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve problems and the ability to work at an implementation level.
Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
Travel up to 10%
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Fluent in English (verbal/written).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in a classified environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of gas turbine jet engines.
- Knowledge in C++, Python, MATLAB or VBA programming.
- Knowledge about Model Based System Engineering, Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
