JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an online English teacher at our client partner school, you will deliver pre-designed classes following the English curriculum to non-native speakers. Your classes will be split up into varied abilities, starting with beginner proficiency classes, progressing to lower Intermediate and Intermediate level classes.

Lessons will be taught via a user-friendly platform providing you within an immersive online classroom, giving students the ability to directly access and personalize their learning content. With the help of various integrated teaching tools, learners can communicate with other class participants, submit homework, take polls, and share videos

• Provide English instruction to students, particularly in the mediums of listening and speaking English
• Assign homework and quizzes
• Issue assignments accordng to student needs and goals
• Create personalized study plans for students with special requirements (learning disabilities)
• Create a supportive and positive classroom environment
• Maintain a record of student attendance and grades
• Participate in virtual group projects such as school events while maintaining professional standards.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Good organizational and communication skills
• A calm and resilient personality
• Creative and artistic teaching and instruction abilities
• Ability to act as a mediator
• Confidence in speaking in front of groups
• Ability to enforce classroom rules
• Strong technology skills
• A Bachelor's Degree in any field (preferred but not required)
• Previous experience instructing online is preferred but by no means required
