The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and corporate governance functions and be a critical part of a dynamic team focused on the company’s identification, assessment, and mitigation of risk as well as organizing, updating, and maintaining the company’s corporate governance documents and related processes. The ERM/Corporate Governance team works collaboratively with all company market sectors, operations, and enablement functions and all levels of professionals from the C-Suite and Board of Directors to new hires. The Team
As part of BV Business Enablement, you will be part of the critical and forward-thinking group that enables our people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible by providing creative solutions. Functions in this group include CIO/Global Information Technology, Diode, ESH&S, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.
Key Responsibilities
Support the company's ERM efforts, including:
- Assist with developing and updating reports and monitoring key company risks.
- Assist with the implementation of the 5-step ERM framework through analytics such as risk analysis, interviews, workshops, aggregate survey results and risk ratings.
- Aid in developing the methodology and tactical process for gathering and tracking mitigation plans.
- Organize, collaborate, and participate in risk assessments and risk workshops as part of a team or individually.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Director of ERM.
Support the company's corporate governance function, including:
- Manage administrative processes like access to and routine maintenance on corporate governance documents.
- Manage the Business Practice (BP)/Corporate Instruction (CI)/CWAM (Company Wide Authority Matrix) development, update, and approval process.
- Update and organize key corporate governance documents (BP, CI, Manuals, etc.).
- Ability to develop corporate governance policies for consideration through collaboration and assessments
- Solid understanding of company policies and the ability to interpret and provide guidance
- Project manage systematic updates and clean-up of corporate documents
- Assist in BP/CI/CWAM updates and revisions.
Management Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably business, finance, or HR-related.
- 5+ years related experience in business operations, HR, or finance.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
