Job Summary:
The ERP Finance implementation consultant will work within the professional services team responsible for working with new customers to implement Wynne’s Rental EPR system as well as providing consulting services for existing customers. Responsible for translating customer needs, mapping to existing capabilities of the system or creating requirements specifications to provide solutions to meet need. Ultimately providing support to configure, manage data and provide training to customer as required on a consultancy basis.
The implementation consultant will have a good knowledge of financial business processes and preferably rental industry. Be able to interface with both financial/accounting and non-financial stakeholders. A successful candidate must be effective in understanding customers’ goals and challenges and be able to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken formats.
A strong knowledge of financial ERP and Rental software, ideally RentalMan, is preferred as is a willingness to learn new products, processes and skills.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with customers to clearly document requirements and generate clear specifications and test cases factoring in all system areas.
- Work within a cross functional team to deliver high quality development to customers.
- Ensure that all documentation is clear, well written and well presented.
- Work closely with the development teams to ensure that solutions are comprehensive.
- Provide support to team members, customers and other departments as directed on an ad hoc basis.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Finance aspect of an ERP software solutions
- Experience of implementing/supporting Rental Software (preferably RentalMan).
- Previous experience in business analytics or comparable relevant role.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Solid understanding of general and financial business processes
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills are required.
- Good technical skills and understanding of software development cycles.
- Good command of written English is mandatory, other languages would be beneficial.
- A good understanding of Waterfall and Agile processes would be beneficial.
- The ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
- Self-motivated, team player with the ability to prioritize and manage own workload and deliver to strict deadlines.
- A desire to learn and develop own skills would be an advantage.
TRAVEL
- Travel at times may be required up to 20%, however on average travel will typically be lower.
