Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate and/or improve product designs for both new and current projects under the direct supervision of assigned engineering or management personnel.
• Assist engineers with various product and process development tasks including testing design and execution, protocol generation, and data analysis.
• Pursue a number of internal developmental training programs as well as externally recognized qualifications.
• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced cross functional, technologically advanced corporate environment in a program focused on developing individual engineers capable of pursuing careers across medical device businesses and high-volume manufacturers.

Education:

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s.
• Completion of undergraduate freshmen year at an accredited University is required.
• The following engineering disciplines or specialties are preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, and Material Science

Preferred:

• The following concentration fields and/or skills are strongly preferred: Microprocessor Programming, CAD Design (SolidWorks), Rapid Prototyping, and Machine Shop Experience
• A minimum GPA of 3.3 is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical personnel and have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated approach to achieving success.
• Ability to relocate across the United States as required by the Co-Op program.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is Sophomore $22.75/hr, Junior $24.50/hr, Senior $26/hr, Master’s degree $29/hr.
