PAY RATE:

• The hourly wage range that Lux Bus America reasonably expects to pay for the position is $22.00/hr.-$25.00/hr.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Lux Bus America is currently looking for a full-time Dispatcher who will be responsible for acting as the communication point of contact for the drivers and operations. You will also schedule and dispatch drivers to the appropriate locations and times while keeping constant communication with our drivers and management, and assuring the Lux Bus America standards stay exceptionally high. HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Check-in drivers, discuss daily route assignments, and answer questions
• Monitor the route and status of drivers by tracking their time, route check-ins, re-routing, and finish time, etc.
• Monitor and communicate with drivers using tools like online GPS programs and cellular communication in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) for the purpose of gathering and/or conveying information
• Document activities on a variety of manual and electronic documents, files and/or records
• Collaborate and communicate with client’s internal departments and other vendors to ensure driver gaps, late pickups, late departures, and other incidents are relayed to all parties
• Interact with clients in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner
• Provide drivers with initial support during accidents and engage manager as needed
• Assist with passenger count data entry as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year of dispatching in transportation industry preferred but not required
• 2 years of administrative support experience
• Must have reliable transportation.
